8am - 9:00 New Registrations

9:00 - 10:00 Dr. Stricker and Dr. Donta will give a brief résumé of their work for the benefit of those who did not attend on Friday and then field questions from the audience with special reference to clinical matters of interest to patients.

10:00 - 10:20 Dr. Bill Harvey will give a brief résumé of his talk given yesterday for the benefit of people who did not attend on Friday and then continue with additional epidemiology information upon a possible Borreliosis pandemic. Followed briefly by questions.

10:20 - 10:40 Chair of the conference, Dr David Owen, will give an overview of the morning sessions.

10:40 - 11:00 Coffee.

11:00 - 1:00 Last year many patients volunteered samples of their own blood to be projected onto a screen and investigated for evidence of borrelial spirochaetes by Dr. Marie Kroun. We are arranging for another session like this, this year with Dr. Andy Wright also demonstrating microscopical phenomena thought to be associated with borrelial spirochaetosis and speaking about same. Dr. Wright has found many patients who have been diagnosed with "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" do actually demonstrate that they have these organisms in their blood. As far as we are able to tell these organisms are spirochaetes, however, research is very much needed to confirm this phenomenon. We have started a research appeal and the charity Lyme Disease Action (which addresses all types of Borreliosis) has a research fund already started. The first piece of work we hope to look at will be a study to confirm these microscopical findings in patients with a great variety of mysterious disease conditions variously diagnosed within the spectrum of Fatigue Spectrum Disorders.

1:00 Lunch - Food and Food for thought! Would your doctor be surprised if it were found that you had these organisms in your blood?

1:45 - 2:30 Poster Sessions. Authors of posters will be by their posters to give explanatory talks if required.

End of the formal public session for Conference attenders.

2:30 Tea and Cakes

2:30 The trustees of the charity will meet for a brief private session.

2:40 Lyme Disease Action - AGM. Please let the Chairperson, Stephanie Woodcock, know in advance if there is any business you wish to raise at this meeting. An agenda has been circulated in advance.
