Author Stewart Bint from Desford in Leicestershire completed a 10km barefoot walk in Coventry on Sunday 20th July to help raise funds and awareness of Lyme disease in honour of an American friend who is suffering from it.

Not only did Stewart spend the two months before the walk barefoot, it seems somebody misjudged the route and they ended up walking a whole 6.6km further than planned, including tarmac, gravel paths, grass and (ouch) a carpet of holly leaves. Read the whole story here.
