Today, Lyme Disease Action launches a major Parliamentary Lobby aimed at changing our national perception of this serious disease. Cases of Lyme disease, and numbers of ticks that transmit it, are increasing in the UK. Why is unknown. Not many people are aware of this disease or the danger to health that it poses.
Lyme Disease Action believes that the main responsibility for action against the disease lies with Government. That is why we are today appealing for all concerned people to join us in our lobby to bring pressure to bear for action to be taken against this dreadful disease.
