PJ Luard ran in the 2O^th Marathon des Sables

The Marathon des Sables is a 6 day / 151 mile (243km) endurance race across the Sahara Desert in Morocco, normally taking place at the end of March / beginning of April.

PJ Luard took part to raise money for Lyme Disease research. Peter, who has a friend who suffers from Lyme Disease, is keen to raise money and awareness of Lyme Disease.

PJ finished in position 145, out of 800 competitors. His total time was 35 hours 21 minutes and 17 seconds.

His efforts have raised a total of £1,345 for LDA.
