Leicester Races run the Lyme Disease Action Stakes!

Lyme Disease Action is grateful to Leicester Racecourse for running The Lyme Disease Action Stakes to raise awareness of Lyme disease amongst the race-going public.

Lyme Disease Action Stakes will be the 4.25 pm race at Leicester Racecourse on Thursday 17th July 2008.

Members of Lyme Disease Action will be there on the day to hand out information leaflets about Ticks and Lyme disease and to chat with race-goers and put them in the picture about Lyme disease and allied tick-borne diseases. The main focus will be upon the common-sense measures that anyone involved in the outdoors or involved with animals should be aware of to minimise their risk of contracting Lyme disease. We shall be pleased to meet with anyone interested in our work. Look forward to seeing you there!
