Lyme Disease Action supports the recent article in the Daily Mail about the dangers that infected tick bites pose to anyone out walking in the countryside.

Graham Jukes, of the Chartered Institute for Environmental Health, whilst not wishing to provoke paranoia, is urging the government to tackle the problems of prevention and greater awareness.

Severe Lyme disease patient, Wendy Fox, of Bada-uk, points out how the suffering the disease causes does not need to happen.
