The 2008 conference will based at John Foster Hall, Leicester University, Manor Road, LE2 2LG. John Foster Hall is based in Manor Road, on the South East of Leicester. Free car parking is available.
The conference will start at 9.00am and we expect to finish around 17:30.
There will be a conference dinner on the evening before the conference, starting at 20.00.
Accommodation can only be booked by those attending the conference.
B&B rooms are available, for Thursday we offer a choice of Standard, Ensuite or Disabled. On Friday we have a limited number of Standard and Ensuite rooms. We only have single rooms. Prices

Disabled - we can offer specially adapted rooms.
What facilities are included in delegates bedrooms?
All bedrooms provide comfortable single accommodation, with writing desk, desk lamp, telephone, internet point, bath and hand towels, a welcome toiletries pack, along with tea and coffee making facilities. A welcome leaflet is
also provided detailing emergency contact numbers and useful information. These inclusions may vary depending on the package that you have chosen, check your booking form for details. Please note that sockets within rooms are 2amp and are not suitable for high voltage equipment.
When can delegates collect their room keys? Residential delegate room keys will be issued from 1400hrs on the day of arrival. Delegates should keep their keys with them for the remainder of their stay. All bedrooms should be vacated by 0930hrs on the day of departure. A deposit is not taken for keys, however any losses will be charged at £20 - £50, (depending on residence), to the final invoice.
Can I arrive late ?
A night porter is on duty in John Foster Hall throughout the night, however duties could potentially take them away from the main desk.

For John Foster hall follow signs to Botanic Gardens which are located 3 miles from the town centre in the highly regarded area of Oadby close to Leicester Racecourse.
Please do not to follow signs for the University of Leicester as these will direct you to the City Campus located three miles away.

Bookings are only accepted through our on-line system. If you don't have internet access, please ask a friend who does. If you are unable to arrange internet access, please telephone 01935 826829 and a volunteer will enter your booking into the on-line system.
This is a volunteer service, so it is not permanently staffed.
It is requested that you only call between 11:00 and 22:00.
For website and online booking problems, please email the webmaster. The telephone booking facility will not be able to answer questions.
Refunds will only be given if we are able to re-sell the place, LDA reserves the right to make an administration charge. Refunds will not be processed until after the Conference.
Persons representing commercial concerns, or who wish to act as an agent for the sale or distribution of any type of product or service, who wish to attend the conference must first obtain prior approval from the charity. If you are a person within this category, please email conferences for permission before booking. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to anyone who has not been through this procedure. Refunds will not be made in these circumstances.
