"Is chronic Lyme borreliosis the next headline illness with enormous public health implications?

The conference presented some of the facts about Lyme borreliosis, its incidence, clinical characteristics and treatment.

The illness can be caught from the bite of a tiny tick. Everyone needs to be aware of the facts about the illness and how to avoid it.

* Disease incidence studies
* Studies that consider a possible relationship between Borrelial disease
and Fatigue Spectrum disorders.
* Studies relating to the transmission pathways by which some of these
pathogens have an interface with man.
* Clinical knowledge including diagnosis, treatment and management.

This year our main speaker will be Dr Joseph Burrascano,
author of
"Diagnostic Hints and Treatment Guidelines for Lyme and Other Tick Borne Illnesses".
