Thank you for considering a donation to Lyme Disease Action.

Lyme Disease Action is funded entirely by donations, we receive no government funding.

We aim to help people suffering from Lyme Disease, other Borrelioses and associated diseases by:

• Raising awareness of the public at large including conferences, information and support.
• Scientific and medical education and research in topics related to Lyme Diseases, other Borrelioses and associated diseases.

Each year we organise our Annual UK Conference on Tick-borne Diseases, as well as continuing our work striving for the prevention and treatment of Lyme Borreliosis and associated tick-borne diseases.

The best way you can support this work is by making a regular Standing Order to the charity. It does not have to be a large amount. Regular payments help the charity to plan ahead. If you feel you would like to help us in this way, we would suggest you made a small monthly donation of around £2, that would certainly be a help to us. Of course, it is up to you and you could decide to give more or less. Any amount you decide to give will be gratefully received and used in our work to help Lyme patients.

If you decide you would like to raise some money for the LDA through a sponsored event, we can help by creating a page on our website especially for you. This page works exactly the same as sites like JustGiving, you give the URL to your friends and family, and they make donations through Paypal. You will automatically receive notification of any donations made from your page. We have decided not to use sites like JustGiving, due to the high costs involved.
