The first request for professional members for the NICE Lyme disease clinical guideline seems to have failed to recruit enough people. A new call has been issued for roles that were not successfully filled by the first round of interviews.

• 1 x adult general physician
• 1 x adult neurologist
• 2 x paediatricians (general paediatrician and paediatric neurologist)
• 1 x rheumatologist
• 1 x practice nurse/primary care nurse or pharmacist with experience of identifying infection in the community
• 1 x psychologist/psychiatrist (Note that this now includes a psychiatrist, a role omitted from the first round)

The closing date is Friday May 27th. Please draw this to the attention of any possible clinicians who you think would be useful members of the committee.

We assume from this new list that infectious diseases consultants, GPs, a microbiologist and lay members have been successfully appointed.
