The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) are jointly developing a systematic review and guideline on treatment of Lyme disease. The Project Plan has been open to public comment between March 9th and April 9th.

Although these guidelines are intended for the USA, there is no doubt that, as with previous IDSA guidelines on Lyme disease, they will be used elsewhere in the world including the UK. LDA has decided that significant flaws in the plan cannot pass without comment and has submitted a public comment to IDSA.
