Support our fundraisers!

Through COVID lockdowns we have been working with researchers to try to move some of our projects forward, but we have no time to launch fundraising events ourselves. We are supremely grateful to those who do this job for us and spend time and energy training and then cycling or running. They take part in these challenging events to help patients – where would we be without them?!

We rely on donations, both for our awareness work, our information for health professionals and our planned research projects. All of this is to change the landscape for Lyme disease patients in the UK.

If you support one of these fundraisers – and maybe leave a comment on their page – you boost them as well as helping the work we do for patients and the public.

Recently we had Steve and Colm who completed RideLondon, and are still accepting donations. In early October Alice is taking part in the London Marathon.

All our fundraisers have a personal reason for supporting the work we do in trying to change things for the better for UK Lyme disease sufferers, and those who perhaps don’t know what difficult path may be awaiting them following a tick bite.

Will you support one of them?

If you think LDA is helping patients and the public, then how about sharing the link to Steve & Colm’s RideLondon or Alice’s London Marathon with your friends. Just go to their page and click on “Share this page”. Easy really!

If, however, you want the hard work of taking part in an event yourself, see our sponsored events page – there is probably an event near you! Run a coffee morning? Garage sale? Your choice.
