A media campaign on infectious diseases was launched today, 1st December, and includes an article on Lyme disease. There is a print supplement in The Independent and a website with more information. This campaign will run for a few months and print versions will be distributed at international conferences.

Because this will attract readership amongst doctors, including infectious diseases consultants, LDA chose to focus on the recent House of Lords debate at which the Health Minister backed the idea of a network of interested doctors. A number of useful links are embedded in the on-line article to allow doctors to verify the points that we make.
